Concrete Cost Calculator

Turn a contractor’s square-foot rate into a budget for your measured area. Add only costs that the rate leaves out. This tool supplies no prices and makes no Phoenix market-price claim.

Use a rate for the same job and area definition. A concrete material price per cubic yard cannot be entered as an installation rate per square foot.

Your worksheet

Free to use. Inputs stay in this page and reset on reload. Print or download what you want to keep. Nothing is sent to the operator.

Enter only separate costs that are outside the rate. Blank adds no allowance; it does not mean free.

Use the worksheet above. With JavaScript off, use the formula below and your browser’s print menu.

Formula: total = measured square feet × your quoted rate + separate line items

First multiply the measured area by the rate in your written quote. Then add removal, base work, pumping or access, permits and other separate costs only where they are outside that rate. The worksheet rounds each money line to cents before adding the total. A stated zero rate is allowed; check that it is intentional.

Walk through your own quote

Write your measured area as A and your contractor’s rate as R. The base amount is A × R. If removal is a separate amount D and an agreed access charge is P, the budget is A × R + D + P. If removal is already included in R, leave D out. This worked method supplies no example market price.

Blank optional boxes add no allowance. They do not confirm that an item is included, unnecessary or free. Where the quote is silent, ask for a written answer before relying on the total. Add a known separate tax or other charge under other costs only when it applies and is not already included.

Check the unit and the exclusions

Have the contractor confirm the measured area and intended use. A driveway, patio and removal job can have different cost bases. Do not force a lump-sum repair or engineering fee into a square-foot rate just to use this tool.

Review the sourced cost guide for clearly dated national references. They are not a survey of Phoenix bids and are not prefilled here. The volume tool handles cubic yards separately.

Use the scope comparison before treating a lower total as a saving. Print or download a current result before reload; the page stores no project. A budget remains an estimate from your inputs, not an offer, booking or invoice.

TradeLeo is a connection service, not a contractor. Read about the operator. You may choose a separate request for contractor contact; the worksheet never needs your contact details.

Before you decide

Good questions to ask

Where are the Phoenix rates?

This tool supplies no prices. Enter the rate in your own written quote for the same measured area and work. The separate cost guide labels its national references and dates; those are not local bids.

Does a blank allowance mean that work is free?

No. It adds no amount to this worksheet. Mark the item as unresolved with the contractor if it is not explicitly included. A calculated total is not a quote, an offer or a final invoice.
